/r/Aww 2015 Awards thread!

Welcome to the 2015 BestOf thread for /r/aww. We have selected 5 categories, the top 4 nominations in each will win a gold creddit.

The categories are as follows:

1. Funniest Submission

2. Best Comment

3. Best Cat Submission

4. Best Dog Submission

5. Best Post not containing a Cat or Dog.

All you must do is nominate and vote on them. Simply post both the link to the thread and a link to the direct image. (The exception of course being the best comment) All replies must be a nomination. All outside comments/discussions must be as a reply to the Discussion comment.

Rules

• Please only nominate a submission once per category. If you see the one you wanted to add please upvote it (this is how you vote on each category). At the end we will check all the vote numbers to determine the winner in each category.

• The thread will be in contest mode. This means that all comments will be sorted randomly and no scores will be displayed.

• You may only nominate submissions made in 2015.

• You can nominate anyone but yourself

• Every nomination must follow our current rules. Meaning if it's a thread we've removed, or one that we would remove but somehow missed, it will be disqualified.

• All top-level comments will be removed. Post any discussion as a reply to the mod approved Discussion comment.

This thread will be in contest mode, so nobody will know who is winning until we announce it. We will also be removing any parent comments apart from the categories. This thread will be stickied until 2016, at which point we will replace it with the winners thread after the results have been tallied.
